Halloween Dessert Table - Vampire Party

What more could a young and young at heart Vampire want from halloween than a halloween Vampire Party with a Vampire dessert table laden with Dracula Cake Pops, Castle Cup Cakes, Blood Jelly and Coffin and Bat Vanilla cookies.

We trust you will enjoy our Halloween Vampire Dessert Table.

Halloween Vampire Dessert Table

This dessert table was a lot of fun to create and quite simple.  The backdrop for the dessert table was a large wall of flying bats, this was achieved with a lot of card bats that we found on-line.  We used a lot of black and red elements on the table

Halloween Vampire Dessert Table

Vampire Cake Pops and Cookies

I positioned the bats to look like they had just left their roost for the night, soaring across the night sky in search of victims.  The moon worked well as a centrepiece.

Halloween Coffin Cookies

Halloween Bay Cookies - Vampire Party

Coffin Vanilla Cookies and Bat Vanilla Cookies worked well for a vampire theme.  They were simply decorated in red or black icing with small silver and gold cachous to add definition and sparkle.

Dracula Cake Pops - Vampire Party

Vampire Cake Pops - Vampire Party

We made Dracula cake pops for the party and used a combination of large and small cake papers to make capes.  The cake pops were placed in styrofoam that was covered with small bones and bats and wrapped in a castle printable from our Vampire Dessert table package.

Halloween Vampire Party - Blood Jelly

We served Blood Jelly in LED cups with the colour set to red, these looked really effective in a dark room.

Castle Cup Cakes - Halloween Vampire Party

Halloween Dessert Table with Bats - Vampire Party

We decorated the cupcakes as Dracula's Castle.  We used a slice of Licorice Allsort for the front wall that was trimmed at the top to create a parapet.  The wall was then edged by two licorices pieces and topped with two large cachous balls to create castle towers.  These are easy to make but you will require icing to hold the elements together.  They looked great on the cup cakes.

Halloween Vampire Castle Cup Cakes

The castle cup cakes were topped with a cup cake topper from our printable range.  We also created a blood donation room game for this party, this was a great game that kept the children occupied all evening.

This was a fun party and the vampire theme led to lots of great costumes.  We have created a small number of printable products for this party, they are available in our shop.

We hope you have enjoyed our photos

Halloween Vodka Jelly Shots

Hard to go past Vodka Jelly shots at Halloween served in a skull shot glass.

This year we had a Witch Hansel and Gretel theme party so the jelly was green.  We created the jelly toppers for this party and they are available as a free down load.

I make the jelly slightly more liquid than the packet recommends and add 1/4 cup of Vodka per packet.

These are great for a crowd.

Enjoy Julie

Halloween Witch Party - Hansel and Gretel Party with dessert table

This year we created a Hansel and Gretel Halloween theme.  This party consumed a large part of the house with a full dessert table, working Witch's kitchen and a darker adult take on Hansel and Gretel.

For this post we focus on the dessert table where we used elements of Hansel and Gretel first finding the Candy House through to the nastier side of the Witch.  We created a set of printable products to accompany the dessert table, these are available from our shop.

This theme was a lot of fun we hope you enjoy.

Halloween Hansel and Gretel Dessert Table

Our dessert table used a simple crushed velvet table cloth.  On the wall we added a large spooky cardboard cut out tree with a witch peeking around the side.  Some large spiders were then added to the wall.

The cupcakes represented the Witch's candy house.  We used a small violet crumble's for the house and licorise all sorts for the roof and door.  The house was decorated with tiny trees and candy canes from a christmas sprinkle range.

Halloween Hansel and Gretel Cupcakes

I find layered coloured jelly is always popular with the children, we made the jelly in spooky cups and topped with toppers from our Hansel and Gretel printable range

Halloween with party jelly cups

For cookies we used a witch boot and shoe, we decorated these quite simply with gold and silver couscous balls.

Halloween Witch Cat Cookies

Colourful candy is a must for this theme, we used small crystal bowls and lots of shapes and colour.

Halloween Hansel and Gretel

Toffee apples are also great for a halloween Witch theme, we used black chopstick and decorated using mini bunting from our printable range.

The cup cakes did take some time to assemble but used simple techniques.

Halloween Adult Witch Party Hansel and Gretel

Finally the first day of October, and the start of Halloween season.

Who says Halloween is just for children, luckily for me I have a number of adult friends who share my enthusiasm for dressing up and partying at Halloween.  This year we had a Witch Party with a  Hansel and Gretel theme, and while I did allow the dessert table to be child friendly the rest of the house was very dark and defiantly post the Hansel and Gretel Candy House.

The centre piece for this party was a Witch House in the woods and we will  post a tutorial on how to create this over the next couple of days.

This was a dark theme but perfect for an adult halloween party, we have created free printables for you to use and enjoy.

Enjoy Julie.

Halloween Hansel and Gretel Witch Party

The House and Forest were the centre piece for this party, we then strategically surrounded the house with Champagne glasses, Glass Punch Bowls and Witch food.

Halloween Hansel and Gretel Witch party

Our Champagne glasses were all individually named with famous or should I say infamous Witches and Wizards these circles are included in our free download.

Halloween Witch and Wizard drink tags

We used a lot of candles to create height for the forest, we also used lollipops to frame the pathway to the Witch's house.

Halloween Witch Party centrepiece

We created three punches for this party, the punch bowls were arranged together with bones, links to the recipes will be posted over the next few days with our free printable punch tents.

Halloween Punch Bowls with bones

My Halloween parties normally have vodka jelly shots and this night was no exception

Halloween Vodka Jelly Shots

The house looked great in the dark, it was full of battery tea lights which emitted an eerie glow through the windows.

Halloween Hansel and Gretel Candy House

We served Witch fingers at the party, these are simple packaged Italian Breadsticks with an almond sliver for a finger nail and green food gel to hold the almond.  I tend to use Silver ware and Crystal for food service at Halloween rather than disposable products.

Halloween Witch Fingers

We served a number of simple dips presented in crystal bowls on a silver tray scattered with bones and mice.  The bones were from halloween necklaces.

Halloween Witch Party Food Ideas

We included some wasabi peas, Olive mix and Japanese Oisji peanut crackers.

A selection of cheeses were included with cheese circles from out free printable range.

Halloween Cauldron Cake Pops Stand Tutorial

This tutorial is not so much about how to make Halloween Cake Pops, but on how to display Halloween Cake Pops using individual cauldrons. These look great and make a great display when grouped together on a Halloween dessert table.

Enjoy.

Halloween Cauldron Cake Pop Stands

Materials Required:

  • Small Cauldrons
  • sytrofoam balls of equal size to the cauldron (1 ball covers two cauldrons)
  • Black and River pebbles
  • Nerds

Materials to create a Cauldron cake pop stand

Step 1

Cut the Styrofoam ball in half and place in the cauldron with the rounded side up.

Step 2

Insert the already made cake Pop, I find it easier to pierce a hole in the styrofoam using a metal skewer.

Step 3

Place both black rocks and river rocks over the Styrofoam, check that the Cake Pop sits without toppling over

Step 4

Place a small amount of nerds among the rocks to add colour

Step 5

Position in a bunch, I added mini bunting to the cake pops for added impact.

Halloween Cake pops

For this Party I did make three types of Cake pops.  The first was an eyeball made with a blue or green candy melt, red gel for veins and  black Gel for the pupil.

Halloween Eye Ball Cake Pop

The Pumpkin Cake Pop was made with orange candy melts, and an orange gel pen to create lines and green icing Pen for the pumpkin leaves

Halloween Pumpkin Cake Pop

My favourite Cake Pop this year has to be the cauldron, these were made my allowing the cake pop to rest upside down to form a flat top, I then used a brown gel pen and green nerds for the cauldron contents and a combination of red and orange gel pens for the flames.

Halloween Dessert Table

Halloween is always a great time of the year, this year our Halloween Dessert table had some wonderful Halloween ideas including Cauldron, Pumpkin and Eyeball cake pops, some wonderful Witch Hats and Bat cookies, pumpkin cup cakes and small jelly shots.

We decorated the table using a wonderful haunted house and some simple purple lanterns.  The printables used for the Halloween Dessert table were created by Chic Party Ideas and will soon be available in our shop.

Enjoy

Halloween Dessert Table

To decorate the table I started with black crushed velvet and used a wonderful haunted house that I found as Cosco.  I added purple lanterns and some spooky old style picture whose faces changed from sweet to scary.

Halloween Dessert Table

I created a lot of cake pops using Cauldrons, pumpkins and eyeballs.  I places these in individual cauldrons  for display, this looked really effective and I will soon post a tutorial on how to make the cauldron stands.

Halloween Cake Pops

I used small skulls for jelly shots (child friendly) and placed a couple of sour snakes in each.  Topped with a Jellified grave worm topper they added bursts of colour to the table.

Halloween Jelly Shots

Halloween cookies are a must for a Halloween Dessert table.  I made simple Witch Hat and Bat Cookies, with a simple decoration that was easy to make.

You have to have Cup Cakes on a dessert table, I made simple vanilla cup dates and decorated with orange fondant icing and using a pumpkin template to chatter black sprinkles.
